Privacy policy

Last updated: 18 May 2026

The short version

BC Knowledge Test is built to respect your privacy. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect names, email addresses, or other personal information to use the practice tests. Your practice scores stay on your own device.

Your practice progress

When you take a practice test, your scores, answers, and topic progress are saved using your browser's local storage. This information never leaves your device — it is not sent to us or to anyone else. You can erase it at any time by using the reset button on the progress dashboard, or by clearing your browser's site data.

Analytics

We may use a privacy-respecting analytics service to understand how many people visit the site and which pages are useful. Any such analytics are configured to collect only aggregate, anonymous usage data — no cookies that track you across other websites, and no personal information. This approach is intended to be consistent with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Cookies

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The only data stored in your browser is the local practice progress described above, which is technically necessary for the progress features to work.

Links to other sites

This site links to icbc.com and other resources. Those websites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date above.
